"On a very hot weekend we were allocated a room on the top floor next to the kitchen extractor fan. We, and especially our dog, could not have slept in the very high temperature. The staff were extremely accommodating and despite the hotel being very busy, we were moved to another cooler and less smelly room. The hotel is lovely and the grounds are amazing. "We had stayed here before and were disappointed earlier this year, when we were informed that the hotel was permanently closed.
