Tam Coc Retreat is a fantastic hotel in Ninh Binh with a resort atmosphere and away from the busy area, but still close to Tam Coc town. The resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains and you can borrow a bike for free to explore the area at your own pace. Great breakfast buffet and restaurant with local and western options.

An excellent retreat stay

We had a great stay here. The place is beautiful with nice surroundings. The staff are excellent and very helpful. It is a bit out of the way but very accessible with a taxi to go to the centre.

Beautiful property and rooms. A newer resort with young fun staff eagerly waiting to help you. Enjoyed the happy hours and restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Still working on how to stock their wine inventory which was limited, but overall really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent place to stay

Wonderful place with a lovely pool and beautiful surroundings. Our house had to bedrooms and a nice livingroom. The house was extremely clean and staff are very helpfull. Only thing - food is found both better and cheaper in Tam Coc.

Lovely and quiet property in well kept tropical garden in the middle a few karst/mountain, very clean and high quality bungalow/room, finally a real king bed (not two joined double bed)! Great service, good breakfast, worth the money! Only downside was the pool that closes too early (7pm), but I guess this is the cost for more family friendly/quietness :)

Absolute perfection from check-in to check-out. Every employee was friendly and accommodating. They gave me great advice about activities. The evening manager hooked me up with an awesome local taxi driver that charged about 1/3 the price that Grab was quoting. I had a wonderful massage with expert masseuse who is also a massage teacher. The room was clean and comfortable. You get your own little private villa with front porch and an incredible bathroom with soaking tub. They have bikes available for use for no additional charge. All food/drinks in the room was included. Restaurant and breakfast was good. The menu was the same day to day but offered good variety as well as made to order eggs. They gave me an embroidered tote bag with waters for my trip back to Hanoi. I’m very pleased with my stay and hope to come back again!

Perfect spot to discover Tam Coc- highly recommend

This property is amazing. Rooms are very good, and incredible bathroom. Unfortunately no enough hot water to fill the tubs. Breakfast was best in Vietnam so far. Hotel is outside the main Tam Coc busy street but closer ti some of the best sites. They also have bikes and bycycle to use. Service was fantastic.

Beautiful oasis in Tam Coc

Really happy we stayed here. It’s a boutique style accommodation decorated and landscaped beautifully. Up there with global five star resorts I have stayed in. Warm welcome and the two bedroom villa was perfect for us. Bath was so deep and comfy! Comfortable beds and good water pressured shower. Pool area is gorgeous. Nice to relax by and dip after a day of walking. I had pre booked a private tour with them before I arrived and it was great. Tour guide and driver were lovely. The first night they arranged a driver to take us to Tam Coc for dinner at Chef Hien (v v good!) and he became our personal driver at our disposal for the length of our stay - lovely clean and new car and easy reliable service. Highly recommend staying here.

pretty hotel in peaceful area. not walkable to the main town and restaurants. but it is a nice area to go for a beautiful walk around the ricefields and limestone karsts. rooms are very pretty and comfortable. breakfast is delicious and with a great choice of offerings. we had dinner there also and that was very good and a great place to hang out and chat with friends. everything did close up around 9 pm and if you are arriving late stop in town to eat before you get there. i had a massage there which was great! It was too cold to enjoy the pool but it looked beautiful and it would be great to sit around it if the weather was warm!

Peaceful retreat

My family of 3 had a lovely stay at Tam Coc Retreat. We spent two nights and found the Retreat to be peaceful and relaxing. The pool was large for the number of guest rooms, and we had a wonderful time using it. The breakfast was better than most we've had in Vietnam, especially for the size of the hotel. There was a nice variety of both Vietnamese and Western options. The only critique is that it would have been nice to have more variety from day to day - for example a different type of noodles. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. We expect to be back for another visit in Tam Coc.

Tam Coc Retreat : une merveille

Quel bonheur de séjourner à Tam Coc Retreat. Tout était fantastique : de l’emplacement de l’hôtel à la nourriture en passant par les chambres et les jardins. Tout est prévu pour passer un séjour merveilleux. Et que dire de Linh, elle est bien plus que la réceptionniste, elle répond à toutes vos demandes très rapidement. Elle est tout simplement fantastique. Merci à tous pour ce séjour qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires.

Tres bel endroit ! Tout petit hotel mais les bungalow/maison sont charmants ! Avec un mini jardinet assez appreciable ! La decoration est tres elegante. Le staff est hyper attentionné et le petit dejeuner incroyable ! Tres simpe pour se rendre dans le centre ville, a peine l'equivalent de 4€
