"Everything was very good at the hotel with the exception of the there was a terrible sewer smell when we arrived on Friday afternoon on the first floor entry from the parking area and again on the 4th floor going to our room. Seemed not to be as bad on Saturday but did notice it again strong this morning. The carpet on the 4th floor on the way to our room was very dated and dirty looking. "Rooms have truly terrible noise problems. Impossible to sleep. Had to change in the middle of the night first night. Second night wasn’t much better. Some amenities are ok but nothing special and the so called pool is kind of a joke. Restaurant is great but that’s sadly where the fun stops. We’d eat there any day but would never stay again."

"From the outside the property does not present that well, but the rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean with good attention to detail. I was not aware that this property is more like a vacation rental than a hotel. Entry to the room is with a code. Staffing appears to be minimal during office hours and there is no on site staff after hours."

"The central location in Fairfield is ideal. The only complaint was the internet and tv. Our unit was farthest from the main building and likely the router couldn’t generate a strong signal that far. The tv froze as did my iPad and phone when trying to stream. Get a room close to the main building it may help."
