"This hotel is fine, but it is not anywhere near a 4 star hotel. The rooms are really run down and dirty, smelled like mildew and there were ants all over the floor. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, and the AC and fridge barely worked. The property itself is nice and the hotel is on the water which is always a perk, but this felt much more like a dingy motel then it did a 4 star resort. "The breakfast was a real treat, plenty of options all freshly prepared. Our hosts Maria and Francesco, couldn’t do enough for us. They even made dinner two nights as some other guests were without transport. It was really delicious & the wine was very reasonable! The room was lovely, a good size and comfy with a powerful shower & their own products in the bathroom. The outside space was also great for a little drink in the evening. The onsite dog was also a big hit with us! We enjoyed every minute of this stay and would recommend to anyone! It’s close to Cefalu and easy to get into Palermo; although definitely would recommend having a car!"
