"Enjoyed a stay for 2 nights in this hotel. The room was clean and bright, the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good with the usual range of food available. We stayed on 2 of the hottest days of the year, so the pool provided a welcome cool down. I chose a superior room and was glad I had, as there was enough room for us including the dog and 2 windows to try & let some air through. The bathroom was a bit of a challenge having the sun all day and no opening window but am sure on a day that wasn’t 32 degrees this would not be a problem."

"We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly. The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself."
