"We received a warm welcome when we checked in. Our room was spotless and had quality bed/bedding etc. Also had a spacious, well appointed bathroom. We had an excellent night's sleep. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. All the food was first class and everyone who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"If you can afford any other hotel please for the love of god stay there. I would rather stay at the Bates Motel instead of this tish hole. After a long hard day working at Harewood House food festival we arrived to check in at 8pm to be told we had to pay to park in the hotel car park (like they didn’t charge enough for the crap room to cover the cost of this and they certainly don’t put that money to the upkeep of the hotel) We have stayed in many hotels but this by far is the worst. "Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...

"Beautiful location set back in large park; rooms are in a purpose-built annexe behind pub, so no pass through noise (although pub was generally quiet and very nice, especially the garden); easy parking; short drive to Hepworth Museum; breakfast was delicious; friendly and efficient welcome. "We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you"
