"Good place to stay if going onto New haven for the ferry"

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"I loved the bar and restaurant staff, super friendly and surprisingly good food in the restaurant. The rooms has great cold AC (rare in Europe for some reason). The Rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and a comfortable size as well. Complaints? The pool in the picture is a wellness center next door and is paid, not a free amenity. Everything in here aside from the bar itself seems to close really early..."

"I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"We were very surprised how run down the room was - nothing like what the pictures showed online. Stained carpets, peeling walls, dead bugs in the lamps, old shampoo caps in the shower from the previous guests. The bedding seemed clean, but the beds were old and stained. The absolute breaking point was that there was absolutely no hot water in the shower (and absolutely no water pressure), and although we texted them repeatedly, no one did anything about it. There was no one at the front desk to...

"It was a nice place to stay before our long flight the next day. Comfortable, nice food in the restaurant. Although the shuttle to the airport wasn't free was worth it to be dropped at the departure gates."
