"We only stayed one night, but the location was convenient. Tara at the reception desk was cheerful, friendly and efficient; the room was clean, although the carpet could do with a cleaning. The bedding and towels were crisp and clean. The beds were a little soft for us, but were otherwise comfortable and the pillows were very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was also tasty and adequate for our needs. Overall a good impression of this hotel."

"Greated by the owner. Very friendly and gracious host. Given an option of room style. Parking lot spotless, parking in front of room. Opened the door to room, and WOW! Never seen or stayed in such a spotless room. Bed linens, bathroom, dressing area, windows, blinds, everything amazingly clean and neat. Would give a plus plus rating and recommend to all going to the Port Hope area. Lovely downtown with multiple choices of restaurants. Don't snooze anywhere else and miss out on this one!"

"The Emilyville Inn is a gorgeous old home. The wide plank pine floors and antique furniture were impressive. Kimberly, our hostess, was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. She showed us around before taking us to our room, which was just lovely. We had a great night's sleep and a wonderful "full" breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend a stay here. "Westwind is located in beautiful natural environment in the woods and by the water. Sport equipments is available such as boats, bicycles and the modest version of the golf range. Gardens are beautifully arranged and the native canadian plants such as trillium were blooming. Looking forward to enjoy this quite place again."
