Restaurants and pubs are within easy reach and lovely to stay on the middle of the countryside with beautiful views. As weather wet drove to Morpeth and walked around the beautiful park and highstreet. "

"I arrived early to a super friendly host. Was invited into an open lounge for the quests with a roaring real fire . Offered refreshments and then shown to my room for the night. . Cannot fault the whole experience from start finish . Real home made breakfast, just a lovely environment , and a very good price I would have paid more for this . Thanks again to the host she was super lovely .My only regret is not spending more time there. "

"Kellagh Farm is a little off the beaten track as it is still a working farm, but perfectly placed for a stay whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall and in an idyllic location. There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. A really great property at a fantastic price."

"Maurice and Laureen were excellent hosts and the property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. After a very long day driving, Bojangles was the perfect stop over; a great nights sleep was had and a very tasty breakfast set me up nicely for the following days onward road trip. Highly recommended."

"What a venue! I'd always heard about Close House as a great location for golf, but never really thought of it as a place to stay. Its small enough to be personal and intimate. Not a huge venue that can feel overwhelming. Credit to all the staff, polite, welcoming, and always served with a smile."

"There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . These things happen and it hasn't put me off staying again . Food was fab room was clean and service was excellent. Definitely recommend. And will stay again."

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
