"Family run pub and inn. As a woman travelling alone I always keep a low profile, but I was welcomed in and invited to the pub quiz ( declined after a long day of meetings but lovely to be asked!) was looked after wonderfully, and enjoyed my home cooked breakfast watching red kites fly over the River Wye. The perfect base for a trip to Hay. Thank you"

"A great hotel in a lovely village, with mountain views and river walks. Beautiful decor, nice sunny courtyard for drinks, and the bar is not overpriced. Staff were very busy on arrival, but still attentive and efficient. They work hard and it shows, immaculately clean with great service. Breakfast is fab too. Would stay again if we are in the area."
