"We had a wonderful stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The lobby, common areas, and amenities are fabulous. The room is very average, but was certainly sufficient for our needs. As a family with two adults and two teenagers, we appreciated the room with three beds. We really enjoyed the pool and the standup paddle boards. Also enjoyed the complimentary coffee, which was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"What a gem in Kona! My wife and I were evaluating our options between a large hotel or the Kona Tikki and we decided to stay at the Tikki. You get a great ocean front view that’s unbeatable and great value for money compared to larger hotels and what they charge for an “ocean view”.
There are no TV’s or Air Conditioning but it was just fine. There’s plenty of ocean breeze to keep you cool and the lack of tv is nice, it allows you to focus on the trip, your spouse/travel partner.

"The ocean view property we booked was very spacious and comfortable for a party of 4. The view was amazing. It was definitely the highlight of the property. Waking up to the view and being able to just take it all in at anytime of the day was well worth having an ocean view. The pool was very comfortable. It wasn’t too cold or too warm, just perfect. "We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.
