"What a gorgeous setting for a lovely long weekend away in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps.
Highly recommend and we already want to return!"

"Great stay. Beth was really helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Would book here again no question. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

"Wonderful atmosphere. Nice place with great walks. Pet friendly.
Shared bathrooms. Old building with creaky floors. We stayed on a quiet night and sounds can be heard from room to room. No tv in room and limited power outlets for charging phones.
we loved the location and the staff were very friendly. And the house cats and dogs were all approachable"
"The staff and both mangers were great really friendly and helpful but the room number although clean killed my ocd with the telly on the leaning to one side wallpaper pealing respairs to the wall not even rubbed down and painted carpets need to go in a skip and the bed if I’m honest the food and the beer was outstanding as well as the staff so they made the break away not the room if your listening head office spend a few bob !!"
"We had a very lovely stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, highly recommend eating here. Room was a very good size & so was bathroom. Shower had good pressure.
Nothing to complain about, we just found the bed was a little too soft for us as we prefer a firm mattress & was rather squeaky when you moved. There are building works going on at the moment outside but that did not impact our stay and it's all to improve the property so can only be a good thing. We would stay here again."
"Room nice and clean you sometimes think everything is tilting because it such an old building. I booked it believing it was bed and breakfast but was told no, could use the microwave and toaster if I wanted with my own food and there was a microwave porridge if I wanted it. Even in their folder in the room it stated breakfast and what time it was. Couldn’t get the wi-fi to work. Will not stay there again."
"This hotel is very remote, so the restaurant is essential for the stay
I had stayed here recently and recommended to my wife that we should stay this time
I sent an email 4 days before our visit to reserve a table for 7pm on the night of our stay - no confirmation came back
We arrived and checked in at 6pm -to be told that the restaurant is closed and that the chef had been unwell since 4pm
If the hotel had called us we would have gone to a restaurant during our 3 hour journey before arriving at the hotel
I hope that the chef has now recovered and well - I could not believe that there was no offer of some food on the premises - it is a very remote location, surely some pizzas/crisp/chips, maybe a microwaved lasagne for example would have been a good and fair offer -
Nothing , so we had to drive 8 miles to Narberth to find some food and then drive back
for a nightcap as the bar would only be open up to 9pm
We arrived back at 8.04pm to have a drink before retiring our room but the young ladies were locking up , wouldn'tand drove home
I think they could have at served us a bottle of wine and 2 glasses to take to our room and we could settle in the morning - as our credit card details were at reception
We have had no apology / no future discount offered due to these circumstances - so I can assure you I won't choose to stay at this hotel or recommending
it is Such a shame as I liked it the first time a few weeks ago and re booked so that my wife could enjoy with me"
