"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."
