The hotel hit the spot for our two night stay in Hartford. We were close enough to downtown as well to enjoy the restaurant scene there. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The one bedroom suite was roomy as well. We would stay there again.

The hotel is on the outskirts of downtown. It was a bit worn down. We chose it for the separate bedroom as we are traveling with a teenage child. I had to ask for a third set of towels as well as sheets and a pillow for the sofa bed. They did not provide blankets or anything and actually asked if I just wanted a top sheet for the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and my daughter actually was too cold at night but too tired to turn the ac down. The shower curtain also has to be inside the tub or the bathroom floods. We used most of the towels cleaning up this mistake and the cleaning person continued to leave the shower curtain outside the tub. If the curtain was outside after a shower it still caused a bit of a flood from the dripping.

This is the perfect hotel if you are attending a concert at the Meadows! The hotel was clean, the staff were nice, and the walk to the venue was short and safe. Definitely recommend!

I liked that everything was clean. I was very comfortable during my stay. If breakfast was served, this hotel would be perfect but I did have to go out and find breakfast. Small inconvenience but overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will stay here the next time I’m in town.

The front desk gal was lovely and tried to remedy the situation. The exterior is sketchy at best. Lawn not maintained. The only thing around is a graffiti parking garage and a seedy stand along corner store. I took the stairs and when we got to our floor the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. We opened the door to our room and the smell hit us in the face. We immediately went down and the girl said they had no vacancies and she had to call her manager. 20 minutes later, a room miraculously opened up? The room we ended up in okay. Blanket and towels were stained. There was someone else’s hair in the toilet. For almost $400 a night, I did expect a higher quality of cleanliness. The only upside was proximity to the venue we were going to.

This is a motel for Section 8. People were hanging out as if they lived there. In parking lot, in lobby, in hallways, smoking outside the front doors, and I dont mean cigarettes. Unsavory sctivities in parking lot. The room itself was clean. I saw no issues. I booked this hotel due to walking distance to the local concert venue. This is not a good enough reason to book this hotel.

The security at the property could be better, on the first night of my stay, a strange woman speaking incoherently followed me back to my room. They needed to better control who comes in at night. Also, the safety latch on the door was no functional, you could close it but it would swing right open with the door.

Booked the room for one night & did not stay. Found bugs on the bed. Brought it to the front desk’s attention & she was unapologetic & inattentive. We were given another room with a leak damaged ceiling & dirty bathroom counter. We were super uncomfortable & checked out within an hour. We were told there would be no refund because we booked through a 3rd party. No matter how the reservation is made, no one should pay to sleep in a room with bugs in the beds!
