Located in the heart of Fourways, it serves as a serene Mediterranean-inspired escape from the Johannesburg bustle. The Venetian-style architecture and the tranquil lake views create a unique "resort" feel. It’s a relief to step out of the high-energy casino environment and into the calm, sophisticated lobby of The Pivot.As always my room was spacious and spotless. The bedding was high-quality, and I particularly appreciated the welcome gift that had been left in the room for us. The staff were attentive from check-in to departure. Being just a short walk across the bridge to Montecasino is a huge plus. It provides easy access to world-class dining, theaters, and entertainment without the noise of the casino floor reaching your room. Breakfast at Punchinello’s was a standout. The variety of the buffet was impressive, and the terrace seating is the best way to start a morning in South Africa. We unfortunately only had the one night and had to move to our next destination. For those looking for a great hotel , the Pivot offers a level of quiet luxury that is hard to beat in the area. I would definitely return."
