Great value for money and located centrally

Great value for money, good size rooms, clean and tidy. Right next to a large hostel, don’t be put off by that as the hostel is a great location for all info on trips, booking taxis etc and the staff are mainly from the U.K. You will get some noise if you are located at the front but you get that in virtually every hotel in Hanoi. Located in a good area for bars & restaurants. Try Durty Burger, Black Jacks for good UK style food.

This hotel is a solid 3 star establishment with everything you could need. The breakfast spread is good, with the view of West Lake from the dining room unexpectedly great. The staff are friendly & helpful. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Voor iets meer geld veel meer comfort.

We hadden een kamer geboekt aan de straatkant. Deze was erg krap bemeten. We kregen twee sleutels mee. Van de besproken kamer en van de wat ruimere kamer aan de achterkant van het hotel. Na bezichting van beide kamers besloten we om toch iets extra's bij te betalen en de kamer aan de achterkant te nemen. Zeer ruim en luxe ingericht. Mooie badkamer en een bed waar je met z'n zessen in zou kunnen liggen. Het hotel ligt aan een drukke straat vlakbij het West Lake meer.

5月連休に3泊しました。タイ湖のほとりにあり、ハノイのオールドクォーターからタクシーで片道40万ドンから50万ドンくらい。とても安いホテルなので期待していませんでしたが、宿泊した7Fの部屋は清潔であり、湯量も充分でした。またバイクや車のクラクションの騒音も全く気になりませんし、旧市街を避けて正解でした。両親と3人で一泊4,000円はかなり価値ありです。8Fにあるレストランで供される朝食も割合美味しかった。晩はホテルの側に食事するレストランもあります。10階建ぐらいの建物でナイトレイクビューが良かった。スーパーマーケットも歩いて2分くらいの場所にあります。荒っぽいタクシーに乗って街歩きに疲れた時に重宝します。エコノミーホテルなのでベトナム人やヨーロッパ系の宿泊客が多く、日本人はいませんでした。

夜のチェックインだったせいかフロントには私服男性、ポーターも私服男性で何となく怪しい感じが否めない。フロント男性の英語が聞き取りにくい。今までフロントとの英語のやり取りで困った経験はなかったが、質問をしようとしても遮られ、空港送迎費用はアウト時決済でいいと言われていたが、後払いの場合はパスポート預かりだと一方的に言われ、パスポートを取られたままポーターが荷物を運び、部屋に追いやられそうになったので、一度乗ったエレベーターから降りて、パスポートを取り返すためにデポジットではなく送迎代往復をイン時にカード決済した。デポジットはパスポート預かりではなくクレジットカードでお願いしたい。このフロントにパスポートを預けるなど無理。預り証すらないので、預かっていないと言われれば終わり。部屋も写真とは大きく違ったが、とりあえず1泊して他のホテルに移ることにした。翌朝朝食に行く際、エレベータ内に腐ったパイナップルが放置されていてげんなり。全てに納得できず即ホテルを変えることにした。ホテル移動のために呼んでもらったタクシーは、へこんだボディで怪しげなタクシー。メーター使用なのに、財布から出して数えていたドン紙幣をメーター以上もぎ取るように取られた。近距離だったのともめるのも面倒なので、文句言わずに高いチップだと思いつつ取られたままにした。決済済の往路空港送迎代を返金してくれと言ったが、返金はできない、移動先のホテルに迎えに行くと言われて受け入れた。帰りの送迎は無事にちゃんとした人が迎えにきた。3泊のうち1泊でホテル移動。Ms.Jessieの対応が良いので、1泊分のみ返金してもらい納得したが、もう二度と泊まりたくない。

こじんまりした小型ホテル。市内中心から少し離れているので周りにレストランなど少ないエリア。 近くに特別な用が無い限り、特に利用する理由は見当たらない。

Lake View is quite wonderful, but is facing the west sun. We were staying on the 6th floor then. Hotel is serene and quiet. Good for couple or family stay, kids may find it boring without the amenities. Took about 10 mins to reach Hoan Kiem Lake, and nearby shopping area via motorbike.

Lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff. Our room was on a high floor at the back of the hotel which overlooked West Lake where we saw beautiful sunsets each evening. The road at the front of the hotel is busy but then this is Hanoi and the streets are busy. Its about a 10 -15 minute taxi ride to the old quarter of Hanoi. You'd also need to get a taxi to Tay Ho for a good choice of restaurants - Grab taxi around $2. Breakfast caters for Vietnamese mainly but also has cereals, eggs, croissants, pain au chololat, pain au raison, fruit etc. We found plenty to eat every morning including Vietnamese pho.

Hotel not too far from airport, convenient when you land or for onward journey but not in best area of town. Efficient check in, clean room & comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok with magnificent view of the lake.

First and last visit hotel

Interior renovation wasn't proper. (Not as seen in the photo) Breakfast was so bad, food are not good, there is no cutlery ready, view was not impressed, the ready packed sugar seems to keep it for a long time, the sugar is harden and stick on the internal paper surface. One word, BAD!

Athough the taxi driver did not present himself at the airport we eventually arrived at the hotel (better late than never) and was greeted with warm friendly smile and a room upgrade(taxi) so all good would I return yes,would I return to Hanoi in a heart beat,great place great people great food

Top service

Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter aber dennoch sauber und gemütlich. Bei unserem selbst gebuchten Flug gab es ein paar Unklarheiten und die Dame an der Rezeption hat uns hier sehr geholfen. Die rief für uns bei der Airline an und auch bei unserem nächsten Hotel. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür. Service einfach top!

Perfect.

Very happy and helpful staff with a good grasp of English. The hotel was perfectly clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the lake and main attractions. The view from the 8 th floor restaurant was amazing. I would recommend this Hotel to all travellers.
