Of the four hotels we’ve stayed at in Vietnam this is our favourite by far. It is a boutique hotel in a great location. Best thing is the super friendly and helpful staff. It is also great value. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect spot in Hanoi. Close enough to walk to all the good shopping and restaurants but far enough from the hustle and bustle that it was quiet. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable and we loved the roof top pool.

We had a wonderful stay at Proverb Hotel Hanoi. The location is excellent—close to all the main attractions while still feeling peaceful. The room was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families with young children. It was spotlessly clean, and we felt comfortable using the bathtub multiple times during our stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Dong Xuan Market and many popular local food stalls. Train Street and Beer Street are also only about 500–600 metres away, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions on foot. The staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

An Absolutely Perfect Stay in Hanoi – Highly Recommended! The Proverb Hotel is excellent, located right in the heart of Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—super helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and spacious, featuring a fantastic mattress that made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, offering plenty of choices for everyone alongside excellent coffee. We had a seamless, great experience all the way through. We also booked two excursions directly through the hotel reception: a trip to Ninh Binh and a Ha Long Bay Cruise, both operated by Heritage Travel. We highly recommend both trips! The guides and organizers were fantastic. Thank you to the wonderful team at Proverb Hotel for making our trip so memorable!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Proverb Hotel. Our room was clean and had a lovely view of the neighborhood, breakfast was fresh and had lots of options and we loved happy hour at the rooftop bar. The staff made sure every littl detail was taken care of.

This hotel is in the heart of the old quarter, excellent location. The staff is super friendly, great breakfast buffet. Some of the rumours are very small, but it’s OK for one night. If have more luggage, I would suggest to get a larger room.

100/10 for Proverb Hotel. I was hesitant to book since I saw this was a brand new hotel but so glad I chose this stay. The service and the staff were excellent. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was so good, so many options! There’s also a great rooftop bar and pool. Would definitely stay again!
