The location is perfect -in the heart of old town. The hotel was very clean and the staff is the best in Vietnam. All of them. Most of our contact was with Max who would stop at nothing to help us and always with a smile. He took such good care of us, he had a driver meet us at the airport with a private car to take us to the hotel, he also booked us tours to Ha Long bay & Sapa that were fantastic..! The daily breakfast included daily was very delicious too.... I truly believe that the Royal Palace Hotel and their amazing staff helped to make our trip the best! I wish I could take the staff of the Royal Palace home with me and employ them all!! Thank you!

I had a lovely stay, enjoying it so much I ended up extending. The staff were incredible and always helpful a shoutout to Jimmy for being a great help always. The room was everything I could ask for after a long day of travelling. Breakfast was set up well and had everything you could want. Finally the location is perfect being located in the hussle and bussle of it all in a busy street there is always something to do or see. I would definitely stay here again :).

For the price it was very good.nClean, very comfortable bed, good breakfast. The guy-Jimmy on the front desk was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.

This hotel is an excellent choice. Good location and comfortable bed! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Jim especially went out of his way everytime to help booking tours, recommending places to eat and fixing a minor problem with the TV. I actually booked another night at this hotel solely because Mr. Jim was so helpful...

Great hotel, super affordable. I love how the staffs and the hotel. Very value for money. Felt very warm and loved by how Jinmy welcome us. Helped us book day tour to Ninh Binh. My friend and I had a really good stay. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed three nights. One of the most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed at. A week before we arrived, the hotel reached out to us to find out if we needed a taxi from the airport and offered discounted rates for tours. We were coming from another part of Vietnam so we did not require the taxi and we had already been on the tours they were offering, so we did not take up the tour offer either; but it was nice to know it was all available to us. The actual hotel is well situated and the rooms and breakfast were fantastic. The staff were attentive and keen to assist. Jenny ‘our’ receptionist (as she was the one who welcomed us on our first day), was super helpful.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful with planning for everything from the Water Puppet show, Ha Long Bay tours, and what to see in Ha Noi. Breakfast was delicious and the location was very close to Hoan Kiem lake, which was convenient. They even were super flexible about adjusting our stay when we missed our flight connection to Ha Noi - I would definitely recommend you to stay here.

I really love this hotel in Hanoi. It has a good location, very close to night market and center. Moreover, surrounding local food is delicious and diverse! The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful ( Jim, Jenny and Sully)

Nice hotel in the center of the old town. Close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Restaurant breakfast was good. Staff was excellent. Did have to move rooms due to electrical problem.

Hotel features a Royal style. The breakfast is delicious and diverse. You can early check in in the morning if the room is available. Jimmy and Sulli are very kind, asking them if you have any question about the famous destination. The hotel provides excellent service. However, the prices are slightly higher during the holiday season. Halong and Ninh Binh tours were excellent, with well-planned excursions that allowed me to explore the area's hidden beauties. I can't say enough about this hotel and its excellent service. I will come back here soon!

Best hotel in hanoi, I had a great time! The location very close to the lake and old quarter. Sulli in particular was amazing, so kind and friendly. Halong bay and sapa booking the trip from Jimmy and I would like to recommend to anyone come to stay and booking the trip from here. Highly recommend!

Very happy that we stayed here. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast are delicious and the coffee is great. Location is superb, walking distance to many attractions and with lots of good food around. The staffs are friendly. We'll definitely recommend this to my friends.

I booked this hotel and a few others for my 3week stay in Vietnam. By far the Hanoi Royal Palace 2 is the best for staff, guest interaction. I want to make a special call out to Jennie who was absolutely fabulous with her communication and support with all my questions before and during our stay.. all the staff were extremely helpful, rooms and food were all excellent.. thanks guys 👍

The hotel is located in the middle of the Old Quarter, bustling city! The property is a bit old but clean. The staff were warm and courteous It's a good thing to experience the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city! Close to everything you need and people are accomodating.

Lovely little hotel close to everything. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations, laundry, and booking car service to the airport. Breakfast offerings covered both western and local tastes. Definitely recommend.

Jimmy at the reception was warm and eager and we were immediately given our room. It had modern furnishings and was wonderfully comfortable. I loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed on more. The location is really great too!

The hotel is not new but it is clean and has delicious breakfast, especially pho and eggs. The staff are the best thing and the reason I give it a high score. Jimmy and Sulli are extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Jimmy introduced me to all the points of interest on the map. He also introduced many quality tours at very good prices. Unfortunately, we had planned a long time in advance and had booked all the tours already.

It was an amazing experience. The room was clean and tidy, very nice and supportive staff specially Jimmy. Good breakfast options. The property is located in the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The facility is a bit old but it is clean. Location is good, most of the places are within walking distance. Plenty of foods in surrounding area. One thing I want to mention is that staff, particularly Jimmy, the day time floor manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff is excellent, thank you Sully! Staff goes out of way to help, and gave great city and food recommendations. The building/facilities are dated and a tad worn but very well-maintained; the room, sheets, etc were clean! (Shower height may be too short for tall guests, fyi.) Generous with complimentary daily water, coffee, and tea. Ideal location within Old Quarter. Really great value. Recommended!!

Just spent few days in Hanoi. And Royal Palace hotel is one of the best hotel so far. If you're travelling alone, this hotel is located in Old Quarter area, which popular for tourists, and also near the St Joseph Cathedral. The hotel manager (Jimmy) is a nice guy. He told me some information about Hanoi. And it was useful, since i travelled alone :-). The room is nice, modern mix retro style. Which i love it. The AC is good. Shower with hot water. Clean and tidy.

I’m very thankful for the amazing service and help from the hotel manager and his stuff-Sulli, Alex, Jenie. It was very great experience to spend night in this hotel. I like the light in the room. It’s comfortable and more than enough for working from the room. It is place where I’ll be back when come to Hanoi again.

Had an amazing 4nights stay here. Everything was exceptionally good. Room was spacious, clean and more importantly the friendly staff. Alex speaks good english and helped us to arrange our Halong Bay day tour and also the Trang An limousine transfer. Great service and location wise was superb! Strategically located in the Old Quarter and it's only a walking distance to almost everywhere.

There is nothing not to like about hanoi as well as this hotel,it's been like home away from home, the manager made our trip so beautiful,they booked our trip and arranged everything with enthusiasm,thanks for booked our trip to halong bay was heaven,we didn't have to worry about a thing,from our luxury cruise boats to Halong bay to our limousine trip back to Hanoi, everything was arranged by them.

Stayed here for 2nights, Mr Jim who is the manager is an amazing person who is ready to help out anytime and also he immediately sorts out if there is any issue in the room. Arranged my tours through the hotel which I really enjoyed. As the hotel is situated in the old quarters which is the heart of Hanoi everything starting from ATM ,mart, pharmacy, even the night market is at a walkable distance. Will definitely recommend this hotel to the person searching for the best hotel to stay in. Also Ms.Anne arranged me a drop off ride to the airport at a lesser price when compared with Grab, Go jek. Overall had an amazing stay. Go for this hotel without a second thought.

The hotel is very good! No problem with the facilities, What we can say is you get what you paid for. Near all tourist attractions and very near the highway so its easy access for us to ride grab or take our tour bus. Het ontbijt was heerlijk met veel keuzes, er was een saladebar zodat ik de groenten kon kiezen die ik wilde. De kamers zijn schoon en het personeel is gezinsvriendelijk. Ze zijn zeer attent en vriendelijk. Jim was zeer behulpzaam bij het organiseren van uitstapjes naar Halong Bay en hielp ons bij het regelen van onze eigen reis naar Ha Giang, een echte aanrader!
