"I really hoped to give a good review but it fell short. I made the reservation months ago yet when we checked in (2A/2C) I was told they didn’t have the room type I requested only a king but they could move us the next day. Right… four of us in one bed. My grand D has T1Diabetes so sleep is extremely important to managing her disease & but my grand S has autism & really needs his space. It took 3 people & me crying to miraculously have the 2 dbl beds & sofa bed. Shouldn’t have to plead/cry to get what we reserved. While having the sofa bed allowed more sleeping space it was so stained we needed to put a sheet on it just to sit. Heads up Hyatt, cushions need to be replaced! The pool was nice & you had to make a 1 hr reservation. But then no instructions on what to do. Do we enter and tell the group before us time is up? At one point the 3, 4 & 5 o’clock reservations were all there. Kinda defeats the purpose. Lack of pool towels was another issue. We called down 3 times (1/2 hour apart) to get a tv remote. Then I needed to download a streaming service which I don’t have. We gave up & used our iPads. I’d love to say a friendly staff made up for issues but it didn’t. But Charles the valet was awesome. The breakfast is good. Eggs everyday. No one tells you to request pancakes or waffles. We figured it out by day 3. At checkout I explained some issues & was told I would receive extra points as compensation. Didn’t happen. It’s prox to aquarium is best feature. "

"The staff is always wonderful and go above and beyond with anything that you need. It is a beautiful hotel… This is the fourth year in a row that I have stayed there and I’ve never had any problems and the rooms are always beautiful and clean."

"The location was perfect for my needs. Room was clean and the staff were pretty friendly. The cordless phone in my room did not work which made me have to leave my room and physically go to the front desk for assistance. Major inconvenience."

"Breakfast was pretty good and it is free so that’s a plus but my room was below my expectations. Shower/tub/ shower curtains were not clean and the hallways in my building had trash bags up and down them and smelled of cigarette and cats the whole weekend I was there. Kind of dusty overall look to the hotel was not what I expected but for the price it held me for the weekend."

"I had an issue with the room next-door being extremely loud. Went down and talked to the front desk and it was resolved within 15 minutes. This made me very pleased with the staff. The hotel self is in due of a remodel. It’s been a little outdated."

"The shower control may need adjustment and better instructions The coffee maker was serviceable but should be upgraded The pillows were not comfortable The coffee at the breakfast buffet was powdered coffee and the hot water dispenser had a meager flow rate The shuttle service was excellent"
