"Pros: A true Isle of Skye experience… right on the water, beautiful view, lots of sheep around. It felt safe, secluded and was very quiet. The staff were so kind. Cons: It’s a very basic accommodation and the buildings/rooms show wear and tear, The drive in is 2 miles of one lane with not many passing areas."

My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. "Website doesn’t prepare you for the 5-10 minute walk uphill on a gravel path every time you go to and from your room from your car or hotel center. Won’t give golf cart rides (Staff uses them) for safety reasons. WiFi is available about 50% of the time. No phone in room so you hike down and back up hill to ask for help with it. No fridge in room. Some staff are great and some are rude."
