"15-min walk to the main terminal for buses to ski slopes. Accommodation was a bit dated. Comfortable but nothing special. The toilet smelled bad no matter how many times we cleaned it. There was sufficient space for 3 large adults; would have been tight for 4 and too cramped for 5. Friendly staff who were more than happy to transfer us to/from the station and willing to help and provide information. Overall average accommodation."

"The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. No point arriving before your room is ready because there is literally nothing to do, even though the room may be ready, you can’t have it till 3pm. "

"Obsolutely over and above fantastic hosts with great ameneties like a local shuttle to downtown and a rack to dry your snowboarding gear. We would absolutely stay again. The hosts were beyond compare!"

"For our visit to Japan we were seeking a traditional accommodation experience for our stay in the Hakuba valley. We were not disappointed with the 24 Sweets. From the shikibuton beds, tatami mats and in house onsen, we really got to experience the traditional experience. The ski locker and boot room was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If you are seeking this experience we highly recommend. "
"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were absolutely delightful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests including the dietary requirements of one person in our group. We were on the breakfast and dinner meal package and the options each day were fantastic, with a vast selection of European and Japanese options.
One thing to note is that the hotel isn’t located in a town centre. Instead, it’s directly opposite a beginner lift in the Imori area, giving easy access to the slopes.
The hotel itself is fairly basic, but it’s very clean and the staff more than make up for it with their warmth and helpfulness. There are free hot drinks in the foyer, an onsen, washing/drying facilities and the hotel will provide free transfers to train/bus station (or even to Lawsons/711 if you need supplies!) There’s also a games room with a pool table and table tennis.
If you’re looking for nightlife, this probably isn’t the spot for you; but for a relaxed, comfortable tradtitonal Japanese ski stay, we couldn’t fault it."
"Saiko was a fantastic host and owner of the property! The room was clean, easily warmed in the cold winter weather and daily simple western breakfast was great.
Ly, one of her live in staff, was very useful too for us to use as a local driver.
Saiko was very helpful with food recommendations and helping us call various venues or snow gear hire.
We were a large group of 7 and had booked up most of the top floor. The vibe in the Inn was very communal downstairs for meals or watching TV!"
"This hotel has terrific staff, lovely breakfasts, and is beautiful to be in with all the natural wood decor, comfortable furniture and beds with lovely linens. The location is perfect for walking to many great restaurants, the local bus stop and liquor store. They also have a great ski storage room and private shuttle to three ski resorts. "
"Amazing stay.
Old hotel but very cozy.
Breakfast was average- they had lot of variety though. For the price, it was ok.
We were 4 staying in one room and didn't really feel that it was too congested. Lounge is extremely cozy after a day on mountains. They have a dry room which is great use for skiers.
Onsen is awesome especially the one outside. We were using it every day.
Must try dinner buffet especially because it comes with unlimited drinks, food was ok. But worth the price, i think.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating.
Location couldn't be better- you can literally ski in ski out- although we did get a bit lost on the slopes trying to find the lifts closer to the hotel. That was mainly because we started skiing from gondola area which is only 5 mins walk away- just because we had to buy the tickets on day 1.
Woody's rental shop is also very close by so it became very convenient with rentals and stuff.
Just be very careful while driving your car out of the car park in snow as it was very slippery on the end of carpark before you hit the main road."
