Maximum continence in lovely Hakodate

JR Inn Hakodate was super convenient and, other than it being on the small size, was a great place to stay. They have a pillow bar downstairs where you can pick your own pillows! Super-convenient train access, within walking distance of many restaurants, Izakaya’s, markets, views, and the ropeway.

The hotel is attached to the Hakodate train station, but also within walking distance from many tourist attractions. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the bay. The hotel and its amenities appear to be new and in great condition.

Great location, connected to the JR station. Didn’t get the chance to use the public bathing area. Will definitely stay here again if we come to Hakodate. Staff are all very nice and friendly.

Just next to JR station, few minutes walk to morning market. Location is perfect. Some of the rooms face the train station, very good view especially in snow. Public bath is good for relaxing. Room is in decent size.

The hotel is directly adjacent to the railway station; super convenient, you don't even have to step into the rain or sun. It is clean and efficient and good value. The room we booked was however tiny, and the "bathroom" consisted of a shower box (may 1.9m high), a with the sink in the room hallway itself. Staff barely speaks any English, but that is normal in this part of Japan. It's a very short walk to the fish market, with a great selction of seafood for breakfast and lunch. The hotel breakfast is quite good, though I'd avoid it and go to the market which is better. Overall, it is clean and efficient, though rather basic. The location is terrific though.

Good, solid hotel. Right next to the JR Hakodate Station. Gift Shop, 7-11, plus a few restaurants in the station. There isn’t much to do in Hakodate, 2 nights should be enough. No bathtub in the room. Shower stall, separate toilet and sink. There is a public bathhouse on property. Also a lounge with nice views. Very near the ocean. Seafood lovers paradise, if you like raw seafood.

Located within Hakodate JR Station, just across the Seafood Morning Market and all other fantastic restaurants. A few steps from the Tram station. Our view from the 8th floor BR gave us full view of the Hakodate Mountain and the Observatory and of course, the famed Morning Market.

Hotel has a connection with train station. If you travel from Sapporo with train you dont need to leave the station. You can reach to hotel from private corridor. Also hotel just opposite to fish market and all the restuarants in Hokadate.

Super convenient location next to Hakodate Station. Walkway directly from station to hotel would allow access to hotel during winter without having to walk on sidewalks. Breakfast buffet was very good. Many interesting, self-service stations (rice, tea, miso soup, coffee, etc.) All-you-can-eat sushi/sashimi. Very good quality. Well worth the cost.
