This hotel was great, transportation was so bad that we ended up staying at hotel the whole time and staff was great, there are so many amenities. Food was good too. Room service was lovely, and the hotel had free shuttle which was a life saver.
I only stayed one night. Regret that I didnât stayed longer.
Wonderful place, clean, people friendly breakfast is more than good. This hotel is not good, but incredible. Highly recommend. Donât stay only one night
Breakfast was good. Room was clean and modern. Road in is a little dark at night but that's to be expected in that area. Not much of a view but plenty of fresh clean air as it's surrounded by trees. Paperless checkout would have been nice. Japanese hotels love to print out a bill on A4
I recently stayed at the Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful location near Lake Yamanaka, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere thatâs perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the service from the staff was consistently courteous and professional.
However, the one major downside was the breakfast system. Breakfast is included in my reservation, but I was surprised to find that guests are required to book a specific time slot in advance. Unfortunately, I checked in later in the evening, and by then, all the convenient breakfast slots were already taken. This left me with either a very late option or none at allâneither of which worked for me, as I had an early departure the next morning.
It's quite inconvenient, especially for travelers who need to leave early and would reasonably expect to make use of the included breakfast. I ultimately had to skip it altogether, which was disappointing. I hope the hotel considers offering more flexible breakfast arrangements in the future, or at least provides some form of alternative (like a takeaway option) for guests in similar situations.
Room was ok, but most of the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. From receptionist to restaurant staff. The only saving grace was the midnight manager on duty, he at least had a shred of service in him.
Location was horrible, food mediocre, stafging below par for the price paid. Will not be booking here again....ever!
We stayed 3 nights there . In general the hotel is clean, spacious and nice with hot spa. Breakfast also good with wide variety. However there is only 1 restaurant which not much selection
Ok in general but it seemed like the staff there are not the most seasoned. The check in was unpleasant for me and I realised that I was not the only one who felt that way because my sister in law who checked in a few hours before me had the same less than pleasant experience that was not what we had come to expect of a Marriott establishment.
When I arrived, I had lost my JR Rail Pass in Tokyo. The hotel clerks called Tokyo and was able to locate it. I donât think I could have done it because of my poor Japanese language. This was a miracle and I truly appreciate their efforts and patience.
