Exactly what i expected. Very clean, spacious. Excellent staff and fantastic location within 5 mns between 3 metro lines. 2 coffee shops lavazza and starbucks within 1 mn of the hotel. Every night i come to My apatement, it is clean and smells fantastic. I am very happy to have chosen Ascott icc of guangzhou. I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a reliable clean and well located place to stay.

Our stay at Ascott ICC GZ was absolutely delightful! The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure ou comfort. The room were spotless and decorated, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou.

Located at residential area, surrounding area is quite and peaceful, food delivery can only place food order on main entrance with hotel staff monitoring. Great location. The only downside is the main entrance is at the back of the shopping mall where most taxis or ridesharing cars are not allowed to enter. We have to walk through the shopping mall to go to the other side of the mall to get a taxi.

The place is very convenient and clean. The only thing is hard for taxi to find this place based on the address: they usually drop us off at ICC center, then we need to walk a few hundred meter to the hotel. We are traveling with a 10 months old, they have baby crib with fence around it which is perfect. There is also washer and dryer and microwave, very good for family travel

A cozy stay

Enjoyed our 5-day stay at Ascott ICC. One of the two rooms had a slight musky smell when we first entered but that pretty much went away once the AC was running. Rooms were well lit, and placement of things make sense. The Apelles products provided were of good quality, especially the B5 hand cream and skin lotion. Special thanks to the front desk manager (sorry, I forgot your name) and technician, Mr Deng, for their kind assistance on the night my family members fell sick. My sister was down with a stomach virus and Mr Deng helped to unclog the sink. He fixed what he could quickly and suggested tying up the loose ends the next day as he was mindful that my sister needed rest. On top of that, he politely declined a tip too. Thanks to the manager, our trip to the hospital in the middle of the night was made less stressful. A little infomercial - Ascott ICC does not have an in-house restaurant or cafe but there is Cafe Lavazza within the connected mall, which serves good coffee. Do try their lattes with buffalo milk!

Must must stay!

Simple Wow! This property is amazing. We actually stayed in the one bedroom suite and the studio suite. Both had very high end appliances and high end decor and modern furniture. This property is a cross between a hotel and a B&B. There is a reception desk where you check in and daily room cleaning but the place has “living-in-an-apartment” like feeling. There are no restaurants or coffee shops in the property. The location is great - very close to metro and malls and plenty of restaurants around. And it is relatively cheap (almost half) as compared to other high end hotels…like Park Hyatt and Four Seasons etc. Not that there are two Ascott properties. Ascott ICC and Ascott IFC. We actually booked at the ICC by mistake but it turned out to be great. Must must stay!

Pros: very sleek and contemporary furnishings- unit is very modern with tons of storage-very quiet-washer/dryer in unit is great for 9 day stay-housekeeping is very accommodating and pleasant-Cons: “buffet breakfast “ is terrible- the property has no on-site restaurant, for “breakfast “ walk to the adjacent shopping mall to a pizza shop where a “breakfast “ is set up/ horrible! Paid for 9 breakfasts, ate one! They should not offer a meal at all! Large pink “claw” machine spoils reception upscale ambiance. Send reception personnel to hospitality school! They’re all like robots- not one smile or eye contact- you’re in the people business!! Tip: 15 minute walk to Po-Park, huge mall-grocery-restaurant complex at east railway station.
