"We loved this hotel! I definitely will be staying here again on my next trip to Switzerland. We rented an EV car and you’re able to charge it during your stay. Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. "We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, but our first room had a very strong urine odor. Most likely a pet from a previous stay had urinated on the carpet. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the housekeeping manager came to inspect the room but said she could not detect the smell. The hotel did respond by arranging for the carpet to be cleaned and shampooed, so we stayed in the room that night. Unfortunately, around 4:00 a.m., both of us woke up because the urine odor had become very noticeable again. The next morning, we reported the issue once more, and the hotel promptly upgraded us to a different apartment. The new accommodation was excellent, and from that point on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a convenient location. The breakfast offered an excellent variety of choices, the views were beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My only suggestion would be to improve the pet policy. I support allowing guests to travel with their pets, but it may be beneficial to designate specific pet-friendly rooms, require additional protective measures to prevent accidents on carpeting, or consider replacing carpets with hard flooring in pet-friendly accommodations. These changes would help prevent unpleasant odors for future guests while still maintaining a welcoming environment for pet owners. Despite the initial issue, we appreciated the way the hotel resolved issue and we’ll recommend it."

"The hotel is very close to the train station and also faces the bus station. It's located on the main strip vee close to multiple stores and restaurants. The facility is charming and lovely. The staff were also very helpful and kind - especially at the front desk and breakfast area. Oh and the breakfast buffet was so wonderful! So many fresh and tasty options! There is no AC in the hotel, so if the temp is hot outside ask for a fan. Note: we were in a room on the 2nd floor facing the front and there was a lack of airflow. Since it was very hot outside (heat wave in June 2026, the room was very hot with minimal airflow. A friend whose room was on another side of the building didn't have this issue."

"This place was fantastic. We had a beautiful view from our hotel balcony and the hotel is situated just a fifteen minute walk from the town centre, which worked out really well in the end as this was a more peaceful and picturesque location for the hotel. We felt very calm and at peace here. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished and the interiors were of a very high standard and were super clean. The staff were really really friendly and helpful, especially Dani at reception. Also, we found it really useful having free access to the washing machine, tumble dryer and iron downstairs where they also provide free detergent and fabric softener. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would be more than happy to come back. Five stars from me."
