"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "Very nice and pleasant host"

"Room was clean. Bathroom was large. Staff was friendly. Located in a small town. We needed to leave before breakfast due to an early flight and they prepared a breakfast sandwich for each of us."

"Wonderful staff! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The castle was decked out for Christmas and it looked lovely! We really enjoyed looking around the castle and our room was lovely. "

"Nice balcony, which I couldn't use because smoking was apparently allowed and the cigarette smoke spread to my balcony and into the room when my neighbor smoked on his balcony! Strange that, in 2025, smoking is still allowed in the hotel."

"This place has a certain charm because it is smaller and very relaxed as well as 2 to 4 walk to all the restaurants and even the beach. The town is very special in that it is small but has lots of dining options and is located about 200 meters from the beach. Rooms are smallish but adequate."
