"This property is all about the location. If you want a remote feeling near the ocean, it's fantastic for that.
There really isn't anyone on the property to ask questions to (at least that we found). The rooms are not sound proof, so hopefully you're neighbor is quiet, but we could hear furniture being moved and footsteps. There is a small fridge in the room and an electric kettle, but no access to a kitchen or microwave. There's heat, but no A/C (which is normal for Iceland, but the windows...

"Good location. It's just unfortunate that the area is a bit dead after the volcano explosion. The place is very spacious. There was more than enough room for eight people and there only three of us. Laundry facility would have been nice since there is none in the area. Overall it was a good lodging. Would book again given the chance."
"While underwhelming upon first arrival, this hotel more than redeemed itself with friendly staff, convenience, comfort, and breakfast/lunch. The restaurant dinner was fabulous! The breakfast buffet was also good and they offered an early smaller option starting at 4am. The hotel even offered a northern lights “wake up call”, which added to the excitement of our time there. The convenience to the airport and Blue Lagoon wears helpful. "

"Little scary with no staff and being entirely self service, but they answer email questions quickly. Location is spectacular and you’d pay >$500 a night if this was US. Great restaurant on site and within walking distance. Also great you can check out and leave bags for the afternoon while killing time before going to airport. "
