"Pet friendly and the front desk staff were great. I can’t remember his name, but I asked if there was any way to get a room closer to a door and the waterpark and he was able to upgrade us. Super helpful and really nice about it. My son came in crying because, well… siblings being siblings 😂 and he had gotten hurt. One of the security staff was so sweet and went to find him some cookies. We ended up leaving before she got back, and she actually came all the way out to the parking lot to bring them to him. That little extra effort honestly meant a lot. I was a little iffy about the parking lot because I noticed someone who looked like they were scoping out vehicles. I called the front desk and they immediately had someone go take a look around. Overall, 10/10 experience with the staff. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, kind and took our concerns seriously. The room was clean. It is an older hotel, so some things are a little outdated and the walls are a bit thin. It was also quite busy, with a lot of unsupervised kids running around. If I was staying more than one night, I probably would have had more of an issue with it. But as someone who was on the tail end of a two-week vacation and is also a mom of two kids, I know exactly how much energy kids can have. 😂"

"Check in was quick. We were advised the breakfast room is under renovations so a breakfast would be delivered to our room. The next morning we could hear the renovations, which was quite loud even though it was in the second floor and we were on ninth floor. Not sure if I would be able to withstand the noise if we were staying another night. Breakfast was delivered, it was OK, probably not as good if you had it in the breakfast room. Room was very comfortable and a nice balcony with a nice view of one of the bridges. Bed was comfortable with nice soft sheets. Front desk staff when checking out was very helpful."

"This hotel is in the centre of the downtown core. It is older but well set up and the rooms are lovely. We had the front corner room which was lovely. Huge king size bed, super comfortable, with large TV if that is something important to you. The bathroom was huge and modern but not tub - just a very large shower. It is an older hotel and they have kept the charm of the place. The downside was that the downtown on a Friday night is busy and folks seemed to gather on the corner right under our window - so it was noisy. So if noise bothers you ask for a room at the back. The parking was secure and while we initially had some concerns in the end we felt comfortable leaving our car in the secure parking lot. Churchills Pub next door is a good place to eat - however, the new Steak and Ale Pie left a lot to be desired. We do not recommend it - the chicken and leak pie was good. The breakfast was disappointing. A selection of cereals or a choice of 2 types of muffins. There was no toaster and no bread. This could be improved upon. So if you stay here don't count on breakfast to fill you up. Overall, while initially we were very concerned about the location when we arrived as there were a lot of people hanging out in front and you have to ring to gain access as the front doors are locked - our stay was comfortable."

"The hotel and stay was great. Only one little hiccup with parking. Staff forgot to tell us what entrance and password that was required to get car out of Nutrien parking. Once we asked and got the info it was a breeze. The hotel also reduced our first night stay by 20$to compensate for this. Very appreciated that staff took this action on their own without having to ask for compensation. We would stay there again."

"Clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff. They were doing work on the parkade but they made sure I knew and sent several notifications to warn me. The one time I couldn’t find parking in the lot they found alternative parking for me."
