"Everything was lovely. I enjoed this getaway for a few days to myself. I kept up my workout routine in the gym. The drinks were delicious and strong (3-5p) is happy hour so you get 30% off on top of the 10-15% discount you get if you're staying. Also, There's wine tasting on Wednesdays and that was awesome (I finished mine overlooking the ocean and sunset on my private balcony). The food is delicious here. Didn't care for the clam chowder too much, but the halibut and the roast on the plantain...

"I knew the property was a remodeled motel So that being said they did a good job with the exterior ~lots of hanging baskets The breakfast was typical of Major hotels. I liked that you could walk easily to the town and beach We went in April which was cooler than expected The only thing I noticed was not sure it has air conditioning? We didn’t need it but if summer gets hot I’m not sure I would stay there without, I would check"

"Amazing hotel!!! The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The only thing is that there is no A/C since the property is older so keep that in mind BUT they do have fans to give you if needed. But they were amazing, bed was comfy and great views"

"We had a great stay. The inn was perfect.. charming, clean, staff friendly. Nice small heated pool. Was in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants as well as the beautiful beach. Good value and a great short stay."

"Beautiful place with a welcoming and helpful staff one block away from beach. Our room was clean with many amenities such as a clothing steamer, bottled water, Nespresso small fridge and safe. Great breakfast for purchase. Parking can be challenging. We will be back! The Uecker’s"

"Clean room and walkable location"

"The breakfast was THE BOMB! I don't know if you've seen the Key & Peele skit about continental breakfasts, but that's how I felt. However, the food was actually quality. ALSO, they had complimentary wine tastings from the tasting room next door, which was really cool. Very cute, boutique hotel; would definitely go again! Plus, they're really friendly and nice : )"

"Room was huge with a full kitchen, ideal for longer stays. Unfortunately we had to leave a night early but only as we were invited to stay with friends locally."

"Nice clean room. This is an older property but well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is to have a small microwave in the room. The location is excellent, only a few blocks from the center of the village. Price is reasonable for Carmel. They truly are pet-friendly."

"We stayed here for a couple nights after a drive to Big Sur and the 17 mile drive. We loved the hot tub and fireplace! Room was large and decor was pretty and enjoyed the big comfy bed! Could have used a microwave but the fridge was good size. The walk to shopping, restaurant, and the beach was easy. We would recommend this property snd would stay here again. "

"Beds were wonderfully comfortable. Room and bathroom were spacious and we enjoyed the delicious picnic breakfast on our balcony. Loved it."

"All the inns in Carmel are converted motels - do lower your expectations to start with. This one in particular was so old the walls were paper thin and construction was happening across the street and we stayed in a unit on the corner of an intersection- so we got zero sleep most of the night. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room, no AC- so you have to open the windows- letting in more noise. The bathroom is tiny tiny tiny and old pink tile. Not sure there’s a better option in town but...

"This place was perfect. It was nicer than I expected. People were super nice, the place was clean, and right in town."

"The room smelled like cleaning products. Windows don’t open. Very hot at night. No air conditioning ( and window don’t open). Breakfast delivered to room but very limited. All cold carbs except small warmed quiche. All this would be fine if it was half the price."

"Romms are very small for &1,300 per day. Noise is unbearable. Large wedding party without advising the prospective guests. Noise from other rooms is loud. Very late check in. Ocean views are very far and small."
