"WOW. Firstly, yes there are 183 steps to the property but the first 107 are straight up and then everything after that is a couple steps with landings and short walks inbetween. There’s also a hill to the stairs BUT they have free luggage service that they provide to help you get your suitcases up to the villa. The rooms were air conditioned, comfortable and very clean, thanks to housekeeping doing a great job every day. "The location was great, but the photos are very deceiving. There is no balcony in the rooms, and most the photos are just pictures of sorrento, completely unrelated to the hotel itself. The beds and furniture had some discoloration, and the breakfast was just okay. Would not stay here again, especially given the steep price."

"Carmela was a wonderful host and the property was beautiful. We had the room with the balcony which was lovely and spacious and the view was breathtaking. It was a lovely base to have just out of the main part of the town, about 15 minute walk. Carmela was very friendly and helpful and we felt well looked after."

"The room was very clean The staff were very helpful yet there was a day when all the staff were not present. Otherwise all staff were nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is nice but generally requires a bit of walking in order to reach the stations which is not convenient during summer days. A vespa would be very useful.
