"My adult daughter and I flew in from Los Angeles and were so happy the bar was still open when we arrived at 9pm. The castle is charming, beautiful and homey feeling. Not stodgy or hoity toity. The beds are SO comfortable! We slept like a rock! Took the bus into Edinburgh the next day. Pick up us right outside the long driveway. You can leave your car at the end of the driveway. We would definitely stay again! "

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities."

"Parking was easy and convenient but overall the hotel is just okay. The carpet in the hallways is worn and torn giving it a rundown look. The pool is nice and there is a steam room and a sauna. The room is okay, clean. Same, a little run down. It is reasonably priced and there is a convenient bus stop. "

"The location is great! The 3 person room with kitchenette shared a bathroom with another room. The room was clean. The staff was great at both check-in and out. We stayed in their 2nd building at 34 Cockburn. Be aware the doorway is very narrow and heavy."

"10/10 included breakfast option, with ability to order full breakfast off the regular restaurant menu including juice and coffee. Room was extremely spacious , hotel is in a fantastic location just short walk to the train station and everything in old town. Highly recommend for location and price !"
