Weekend with my sons.

Great place to stay with my 2 sons as there are 2 bedrooms and kitchen and lots to do in the hotel. The walk to the restaurants and shops is literally 2 minutes which is fantastic. Parking was also very good.

Mixed experience?

We had some pluses and minuses on our stay. The building is well located but can be quite noisy at night as it is near the shops. The unit itself is well appointed, the bed comfortable but overall the cleaning is not great and some utensils were ready for the bin.

I booked a 3 bedroom apartment for my son's 13th birthday for a weekend away. The unit was lovely and huge so you did not feel squashed or on top of each other. It also has designated parking for the units. The only thing I found disappointing was the cleanliness. The ensuite bin had not been emptied and contained used sanitary items from a previous guest and the saucepans had not been cleaned from a previous guest. That was not nice to find at the cost of the accommodation. But great location close to the theme parks (reason we booked this hotel) and walking distance to the Southport Surf Club was a bonus.

Spacious and comfortable apartment - suites our family of four. Great location - easy walking distance to the beach and the light rail. We enjoyed the amenities and the indoor pool was well used by us on the rainy days. Guests should be aware however that there is currently considerable high rise construction occurring next door and the noise from this was unrelenting and exhausting on the day we checked out - a Monday. Might be best suited to weekend visits during this construction period - or if you are staying midweek just have lots of activities planned so you aren’t stuck at home with the noise. We would stay here again, but will check for construction activity beforehand.
