"WOW! This hotel is outstanding! The interiors are absolutely beautiful. Whoever chose the interiors did a fantastic job. Everything was so well thought out. Staying here was a real 5 star experience. The host was very attentive and the lady serving breakfast was fantastic. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The photos don't do it justice!"

"Pedro & Ana could not have been any more attentive or friendly. They went above & beyond to make sure we had the most amazing time. The pool & pods were both well maintained & luxurious. Perfect place to relax and unwind watching the sunset and stars at night. Having a car is essential to view local towns and historic sites in the surrounding areas. "Wonderful place - was an old convent then a military hospital. The building was constructed in the 1600's so it just radiates with character. We loved the worn marble stairs and the winding passage ways. It also has sitting areas throughout the hotel where you can sit and read or gather to talk or check emails. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place. "

It is located 10-12 minutes from downtown Elvas and is located all alone out in the countryside. Very quiet if you don’t mind chickens, donkeys and sheep but absolutely zero city noise.
