The Pousada is a beautifully restored convent, the grounds and the pool are well taken care of, and the staff was friendly and helpful. An absolutely lovely place to stay. Very walkable to the town of Vila Viçosa with its shops and restaurant. It far exceeded my expectations!

Front desk service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. Slightly hard to communicate with staff in restaurant, but all was clean and efficient. Restaurant was closed for dinner, which was a bit inconvenient, but the rest the front desk recommended had excellent food, and it was within a very short walking distance. So in the end we were extremely happy!

A very average hotel, the convent has a lot of history but it lacks personality. Terrible mattress and pillows , dirty water came from the taps, and a very simple bkfast.

A unique experience! Our walk to our room was like being transported into the time when the convent was inhabited. You really got the authenticity of the place 500 years ago. So cool and the room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend highly. The town of Vila Vicosa is also a must see.

Quarto mais silencioso

Hotel muito agradável para relaxar com uma boa leitura num dos sofás aconchegantes das várias salas após um passeio pelo jardim com suas belas sombras. Limpeza dos quartos mas com muito barulho vindo da rua no uarto virado para tal. A cama do meu quarto era pouco confortável mas WC com ótima disposição. Nada como começar o dia na vila alentejana do que um PA variado com produtos regionais

Poussada qui est une reconversion d'un ancien couvent. Architecture et décor exceptionnel. Petit déjeuner excellent. Personnel courtois. Situé dans une vielle ville ou plusieurs restaurants sont accessibles à quelques minutes de marche. Restaurant de l'hôtel (qui serait excellent) fermé durant la semaine lors de notre séjour. Seul bémol, l'entretien des grands jardins et de la piscine laissait à désirer - mais saison touristique qui débutait (début mai). Recommandons tout de même!

A localização desta Pousada é excepcional, mesmo adjacente ao imponente Paço Ducal. O quarto era amplo, confortável e bem aquecido. Toda a pousada, resultante da transformação de um antigo convento, é muito agradável, com espaços muito bonitos. O serviço foi muito simpático, apenas um pouco lento no que tocou ao jantar. No conjunto, ficámos muito satisfeitos com a nossa estadia,.

Ótima hospedagem em hotel histórico

O hotel é um antigo convento lindo e fica próximo ao centro histórico (dá para ir a pé). É uma delicia passear pelo antigo claustro e apreciar as belezas históricas do hotel, muito bem conservadas. O estacionamento é grátis e nas dependências do hotel mas eles não se responsabilizam e fica aberto o tempo todo. Os quartos são de bom tamanho e confortáveis. O banheiro também é de bom tamanho. O café da manhã é muito bom. Achei que o preço da estadia vale super a pena. Só achei meio chato que chegamos umas 2 horas antes do horário do checkin e a pessoa da recepção disse que só poderia entrar no quarto no horário do checkin. Depois de dizer que sou Gold na Hoteis.com foi que me liberaram o quarto. Ou seja, o quarto já estava disponível.

Lindo hotel, quarto muito confortável, limpo. Atendente nos esperou até tarde da noite. Todos funcionários muito gentis, café da manhã excelente. O único detalhe é que tem umas tábuas no corredor do quarto que faziam barulho. Mas indico muito a estadia!

La única excepción a la mas que favorable crítica del establecimiento es el hecho de que nos "sugirieran" en la recepción el hacer efectivo el precio de la habitación coincidiendo con el chek in. No me pareció en absoluto correcto, aunque abonamos el importe sin hacer mayores comentarios.
