I originally booked for 4 nights stay and was able to extend for another few nights. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions I had. It was only a short walk to the train and bus stations and lots of dining options nearby. If in the area, I definitely stay there again.

My choice if I visit Gifu city next time

Everything is good, near JR and Meitetsu. And it’s easy to find restaurants and bars at night.

The hotel's location is very convenient, being very close to the JR station. However, its neighbourhood is a bit dilapidated. The hotel is also a bit aged. That is why the room cannot be cleaned very thoroughly. The hotel staff, however, are very friendly and helpful. This can make up for what is lacking in cleanliness

The room was spacious and i love it, comfy bed. Kinda old style room but good, although the aircon is not functioning right.. But, I think they really have to improved the breakfast buffet setting.. i mean it was bad. When we came there is no even plates, spoons forks cup & glass to use.. we have to wait for 5-10mins.. Foods are almost gone, staffs are panicking.. poor services we've been on different hotels breakfast buffet but this place will leave you speechless.. they really have to do something about that..

I did not partake in the breakfast as there was a Sukiya 10m from the hotel. Room was clean, spacious, even Ethernet cable was provided for laptops. You get new water and towels every day which seems like overkill but is appreciated

The hotel has an older, dated feel, but it delivers exactly what you need for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, the service friendly, and the breakfast perfectly adequate to start the day. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the main station and several good local restaurants. Not flashy, but dependable, comfortable, and good value overall.

Okay Stay in Gifu

The hotel is in a run down part of town, but close to the train station. The room was okay but the bed was hard, the bathroom was cramped (typical Japanese). We did love the they had CNN and BBC in English. They would not let us check in an hour early (which two of our other hotels this stay did).

Great service

I returned to this hotel because of the pleasant experience I had during the last visit. This time, we had a little challenges due to my mistake on the dates of my stay (and Hotels.com's inability to correct the mistake in time) and due to the hotel's inability to accommodate the last minute change because they were sold out. But the hotel staff did their best to make changes to accommodate my needs, which was very much appreciated.
