Checkin wasn’t great. Communication was good but they told us about an unexpected tourism tax just for staying there but we weren’t aware of the tax until we checked in. Wouldn’t have booked with them had we known about a tax.

Wrong / Misleading room description - I booked for 5 people in room described for 6. Futon missing and that too for bedsheet pillow cover had to follow for 3 hours . WiFi not working, they kept on suggesting to use “forget” feature" whereas we never managed to connect earlier Uncoordinated and unclear communication / instructions I had booked for two nights but checked out within few hours hence to better alternate Even checkout instruction key return box nonexistent - no chance of refund by this hotel for unused night

MOLD. There was mold all throughout our room and the entire facility smelled of it as well. This is extremely dangerous for pregnant women or people with COPD. Also, they have a hidden 200 ringett fee, before they allow you to acquire your room that you already purchase. One employee said they have to keep my passport if they don't get the 200 ringett deposot, THAT IS ILLEGAL.This hotel should be removed from Expedia immediately.

Checkin office not clear as name did not state Geo98 on office door but something esoterically different. Had to pay 200 Ringgits ($44.00USD) as deposit upfront and show receipt slip upon departure to get refunded. There was a cost if you lost the key as well. Do not lose the deposit receipt or no refund! The security here was good as you can’t use elevator without electronic key or cross a walking bridge to town stores. Parking was great & close to room. NO HOT WATER for showers! One towel per person only. No housekeeping as it’s a short stay room. Did have small kitchen and few pot/pans, microwave, electric coffee pot,and small refrigerator. No plates. We did not need to cook. There was a small steam washer/dryer for laundry but unclear how to use it. Recommend directions would be helpful in English and other languages. Max load was 5 kg. There is across street from room loud construction of high rise hotel/condominium being built and lots of pounding machinery. Good news… the local outdoor street restaurants had good mix of Chinese & Malaysian tasty food. The price was low so guess…. You get what you pay for. We would not stay here again.
