This is an excellent hotel overlooking the sea. Great service, great amenities and a great restaurant within.
My only problem was that it was raining almost all the time I stayed there. I'll definitely go back there soon.
We enjoyed the very pleasant and relaxing location and the truly enchanting hotel. The service by all personnel from the reception to the dining room and the great young bartender.
The restaurant for breakfast offered soo many choices, artfully presented and the evening menu and the food served was excellent. We will definitely be back!
The building is a unique and gorgeous villa that is very well maintained. The restaurant is excellent with a well priced wine list. The staff went out of their way to arrange an early morning ride to Malpensa, including packing a boxed breakfast and lunch for our flight - unsolicited! We would go out of our way to stay again.
The hotel was great. We stayed 3 nights on the Pagoda suite. The huge balcony that comes with this room is a huge plus. Access to the promenade that runs along the water made getting around easy. There was a beach to the east, and restaurants to the west. The hotel is an old building, but it has been well kept. The only oddity was that despite having a suite, the main bathroom had no shower. The only shower was in the small second bathroom and it was a very small shower. But beyond that, it was wonderful.
The town itself was a little run down as we drove through and we missed the turning for the hotel on our first attempt. As it was a one way street we had to re-circle the town and try again, but it wasn't a hardship. However, our surprise when we entered the complex was a fantastic one. Villa Pagoda was an oasis in comparison to the streets we were in seconds before.
An impressive and imposing building with lots of charm, warm friendly staff made our stay amazing. My six year old had the pool to himself and the room was comfortable and luxurious.
The one area where the hotel must really be complimented though is the kitchen. Wow! The food was amazing and they even especially catered for my son to ensure he had something he liked.
There is a train line that runs along the bottom of the property, but even sitting on the patio for dinner, this wasn't intrusive. We certainly didn't mind and the cicadas made more noise than the trains did.

The most amazing staff and Hotel on our vacation. They let us check in around 10 am when we arrived. The location and grounds were beautiful. After exploring the area for hours we took showers and sat by the pool under the outdoor cabana. We ordered a bottle of wine from Marco. A few minutes later he brought us some pizza, sandwiches, and squares. He was so polite and said that when you order a bottle of wine we bring you appetizers. We finished the bottle and ordered more wine and the process continued. Breakfast was amazing. It looked like it was just a continental breakfast at first. The waitress asked us if we would like some eggs or pancakes. We ordered scrambled and caramel pancakes. The waitress looked at us and spoke with a heavy Italian accent Try the eggs benedict it's more beautiful. It was the best breakfast experience of my life. The rest of the trip we would look at each other and say its more beautiful. We loved this place.
