Yes, the room was cleaned and in good condition. The only thing that wasn't good was the way the doors opened and closed due to the old key system. It makes a loud noise.

Great little hotel. Our room was small, toilet and shower outside. Very close walling to the lake, train station, tram and buses, plenty of restaurants around. Very nice people at the reception.

Fine for what it was - a two-star hotel with the basics for a night or two. Rooms are small but decently clean. Make sure to check-in online 48 hours in advance as no-one is at the front desk after 3pm.

Reasonable for a cheap option if traveling alone. Small room with a twin bed with wash basin and that’s it . Had to share toilet and shower located in the same floor. Room was clean. Provided with enough towels. If you are traveling alone then this an option for a place to just sleep at night. Area is located close to the train station and a bargain place to stay.

Do NOT stay here- SCAM ALERT!!!!

Delayed due to train evacuation in Lyon and missed the check in time 12-15:00! NO good facility would do such a thing. MANY people around town agree this place is a total scam! SAVE YOURSELF AND STAY ELSEWHERE IS SUISSE!!!! HORRIBLE!

Only liked the location. Requested for a double room and got the room number weeks before the day but upon arrival the room was a single bed. Counter personnel was nice and asked if we wanted an additional room instead, but we didn’t want to and had a mattess instead. Pillow was too soft. a very uncomfortable night but I guess for one night the location is most important and this did the job.

So bad it’s almost funny

The bed was so bad we ended up sleeping on the floor. The floor wasn’t very clean either. Bed had been “fixed” several times too much. There wasn’t staff present so nobody did anything about it. Can’t really recommend.

Not fancy, but convenient.

The hotel is well located for convenience to the train and bus connections, and to shops. Also, only a ten minute walk across the river is the Old Town, with its steep hills, cobbled stone streets, quaint cafes and historic landmarks. The lake front is also not far. A plus was the included free public transportation pass provided and downloadable on my mobile. My stay was short, so I used it only to go to the airport. I was quite satisfied with the hotel, as my stay was for one night in preparation for the flight home. The convenient location gave me plenty of time to have a relaxing afternoon and evening, including a beer by the lake and a nice dinner in Old Town, before returning to the hotel to sleep. The bed was comfortable, the linens good, and, with the windows open, the air was cool enough. Now, be advised, the rooms are small and old. Mine had a sink, but the toilet and shower are in the hall and shared with residents of other rooms. There is no breakfast or other food service in the hotel, and there is no electric kettle, microwave or fridge in the room. The t.v. in the room is small and mounted near the ceiling. This is not a hotel where you will want to spend much time other than sleeping. It was clean enough, but it is old, and not in a quaint way. The manager was friendly, efficient and helpful. I would stay there again under similar circumstances.

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. Absolutely terrible place to stay, no where did it mention shared bathrooms, or no check in after 3pm… to top it off the place was filthy and the bed was nothing more than an old mattress with a small pillow which made for a bad nights sleep. Be Warned!!
