"Over €100/night for a very basic room with window straight onto a busy road is too much. A very noisy family group let the children play outside their room in a tiled hallway which was not conducive to restful sleep. Disappointed that the buns at breakfast were warmed in the oven rather than fresh. The Latte Macchiato this morning was made with sour milk which is an acquired taste, though not mine."

"We had a lovely 1 night stay with our 2 dogs. This hotel is very dog friendly and we could even bring our pointers with us into their restaurant when we had dinner. The staff was super friendly and the food amazing:) The only little thing I would have liked to have been informed about when booking our room, was that if we wanted to use the jacuzzi (that was the major reason we booked this hotel) we should have booked it so they could have had the chance to fill it with water and heat it up. "This is a well restored old building with a nice large traditionally furnished room. There is no on site reception and there was only a link to an unhelpful answering service via the provided link. We found the direct number of the helpful owner on the web and key handover was unproblematic after speaking to him. Noise from an adjacent room is heard loudly. The Wifi network worked only intermittently and the absence of local management made it impossible to fix it. These flaws unfortunately...

Very good one-night stay

"Very clean, excellent breakfast and easy access to parking (50€ for parking and charging of electric car over night). We had a nice evening stroll around the old town which is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Everything went smoothly except for the sofabed being a little small for an adult and a tween to share, but would be fine for two younger kids. "
