"I went for my birthday & chose the hotel for the location, stunning views & closeness to the Minack theatre. Stunning location, right on the beach, the staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more and all in all made it a very special stay for my birthday. "
"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"

"Fantastic property and hosts. Breakfast, facilities and location are great. Linda and Steve made us very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at Torwood House. Just beware that there is no off street parking at this property and we were unfortunate to be there on the weekend of the food festival that made street parking difficult. Thank you Linda and Steve for a wonderful stay."

"This property is set in beautiful grounds and was very peaceful. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The continental breakfast, fruit, tea & coffee and other provisions in the room were more than ample. All in all, great value and would thoroughly recommend. Would just mention that location of property in at the top of a steep hill."

"Great location next to trains, and a fantastic pub/hotel with a very welcoming & friendly vibe. I wasn't expecting breakfast so this was a bonus to me! That said, rather pricey and not too good at being environmentally minded (single use plastics for soap and tiny bottles for example)."
