The door to the balcony overlooking the river was a special treat. We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely property in a convenient location within downtown Gatlinburg. I loved the balcony and the beds were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and prompt when we needed help. Breakfast on the weekend was delicious and cooked to order by the staff. I recommend the Sleepy Bear!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We traveled in on our Harley and had a bag on the luggage rack. They left us put it in our room before check in. The free breakfast was amazing. It was actually made to order. This will definitely be our go to hotel in Gatlinburg.

We were welcomed by friendly front desk staff. Happy with the cleanliness of our room. Enjoyed the peacefulness and privacy of the creek side balcony view. Bathroom is quite small, but we enjoyed our stay at sleepy bear. The made to order breakfast was really great each morning. I’d recommend a stay and one day we will return. Thank you!

We love this little motel on the creek. We have stayed there on two occasions. We are always too late in the year to enjoy the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tony cooks a delicious free breakfast on Sat & Sun mornings. It is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. They are slightly out of the crowded downtown and the free shuttle that stops at the motel makes it very convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

An older motel which appears to have been recently renovated. Rooms are outdated but very well maintained and very clean. Bed was excellent. We had contact with several staff members and they were all pleasant and helpful. Cooked to order breakfast was great and fast.

The rooms were pretty clean. They are an older property but have renovated inside and keep the outside looking nice. Good room for the price. Beds are comfortable. Has a microwave and refrigerator. Has a stream that runs behind the building with a balcony to sit and watch it and listen to the peacefulness the mountains are beautiful.

Great location! Trolley stops in front of the hotel. The shower does not stay constant! Changes hot to cold consistently. Pool was clean. Made to order breakfast was great! Owners at the front desk were very friendly. Close to ice cream across the street.

What a great weekend, we spent the weekend for my husband's birthday. The staff was exceptional, very helpful for places to eat, see, and general things to do. Gave us a map for the trolley to go where we needed in Gatlinburg. Breakfast was great and Tony did a good job! We will definitely be staying here again! Hats off to a job well done.

Very clean rooms. It’s a no frills type of stay but I was cool with that. Weekends have the yummy breakfast across street is The Best doughnuts. Catch trolly into Gatlinburg Also. Great restaurant just a couple minutes from hotel
