This place was wonderful, and my family really enjoyed our stay! The property itself was great, and once we were checked in, everything went very smoothly. My only issue was with the check-in process. For some reason, the email containing the passcode and check-in instructions went to my spam folder, so I did not see that there was a strict check-in window from 4:00–6:00 p.m. That part was my fault, since the email did clearly state the check-in time. Unfortunately, we got stuck in standstill traffic on I-40 and were running about 30 minutes late. I contacted Expedia and tried reaching the property manager several times. Expedia repeatedly told me that if we did not arrive by 6:00 p.m., there would be no grace period and we would not receive a refund. Since neither Expedia nor the property was able to reach anyone, I was definitely starting to panic. Thankfully, I finally found the email in my spam folder, located the passcode, and was able to have someone else go to the cabin and enter before 6:00 p.m. After that, everything was wonderful! Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. My advice to future guests: check your spam folder ahead of time and make sure you have your check-in information before traveling. I definitely wish I had!

Excellent stay, beautiful property, and exciting wildlife (bears). Check in and check out was easy. Host was quick to respond to questions and very friendly. We traveled in classic cars and the incline was a bit much for them but we still managed without issues. I would definitely recommend and stay again.
