It was a reasonable choice for a non-touristy place. The room was sparsely decorated but clean. The breakfast was pretty basic but the staff friendly and the location was 10 minutes by bus from the train station

Great property to stay at in Gangneung. The staff is outstanding and is always willing to help you. The breakfast buffet is excellent with Chef Kang fixing a delicious meal every morning. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

It's a bit far from Gangneung Station, but the nearby traditional market makes it a nice area to explore. The hotel is a bit old, but the room condition was satisfying for the price. I stayed on the 14th floor for two nights and enjoyed the open city view and the breakfast. One inconvenience was the lack of USB ports for charging, so a travel adapter is necessary.

This hotel belied its three star rating on Google maps. It was well staffed with a manned front desk. The room was spacious with a well appointed bathroom. The breakfast buffet was varied and extensive. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The parking was free, just make sure you have a compact car as its an automated elevator carpark. Breakfast was only fair by western standards but we were there for the breakfast. Very clean and staff super nice. Bed was comfortable. Internet was free and stable.

Staffs are very helpful & profesional! They speak English. The room is spacious & clean. Around 5 minutes by cab (KW 5.000) from bus terminal to the hotel. Location is excellent, modern shopping centre & traditional market are just around the corner.

Great Value for Money

I really liked this hotel. It is in an interesting area. The room was very spacious. It was comfortable and had good amenities. I was on a higher floor and had a good view. My only issue - and it is my issue - was the pillows. One was too low for me and two were too high. I had breakfast in the 15th floor restaurant. It was good, and the staff were kind. I would happily stay here again.

This hotel is in a good downtown position for visiting Gangneung. The hotel itself is clean and functional although now rather outdated; the hotel plumbing was a tad noisy and the bed was extremely uncomfortable!

Please avoid room #504. The room was clean and spacious, but a noise from water pipes gave me the worst experience staying here. We have no idea how the water pipe system was built in the room, but we had a sleepless night because of a noise from a pipe. If you need a room for your quiet night sleep, I would say avoid here.

Smelly bathroom

The bathroom smelled like a dirty rag. Tried to clean it with the shower head, but smell still persisted. It’s likely due to lack of adequate venting. They only provide small towels, not the standard fully body sized hotel towels. Also, be careful when walking in the bathroom, there is no tub area so water gets everywhere and I nearly slipped on the wet tile floor. Beds are on the harder side.
