"Worst hotel I've ever been to. We checked in, stayed about 15 minutes, and then left. The room was absolutely filthy, the hallway outside the room was likewise disgusting, and the condition of the building was horrible. There were multiple holes in the walls, exposed screws in the elevator, and the swimming pool was down for maintenance. An indoor pool was one of the main reasons we booked this property, and there was nothing in the listing for the hotel Indicating the pool was unusable. Another guest who was checking in at the same time as us said that she's stayed at the property a few times in the past and the pool is always "closed for maintenance." To his credit, the young man at the front desk was very professional, apologized, and offered to move us to another room. We didn't see that as a real option, though. We can deal with a building not being perfect; unclean is another matter altogether. There were maintenance issues and visibly dirty areas everywhere we went. We took photos of everything and the guy at the front desk took photos of our photos to show his manager. Fortunately, we were able to find a better option down the road. But since we booked through hotels.com they were unable to cancel the reservation on site. We fully expect a refund for the stay, though. "

"Interesting location - it's next to a Holiday Inn Convention Center hotel and a Hampton, easily reached off the highway, but not really close to anything else. There's a second-rate Italian restaurant across the lot which you can reach on foot, and the Holiday Inn has a limited bar/restaurant but for anything else you will have to drive. The elevator in the hotel (seems there is only one) is slow and gets backed up. Breakfast is included and very limited -- feels like eggs made from a mixture, a coffee machine with lots of flavored creams but no plain half and half so you better like your French Vanilla. The fruit and bread options were a little sad. It was a lovely warm evening when I was there but for some reason the pool was closed. That was one of the main reasons I chose this place so that was disappointing. The room was comfortable enough and seemed clean but I could hear people walking upstairs as the floors creak badly. The showers are low-flow models so you will get washed but maybe not quite refreshed. There were ample towels, a coffee machine (but no hot water kettle), and the bed was comfortable enough. So, all told, a reasonable, economical experience"

"The room reeked of smoke!! Paint was peeling off doors. Refinished tub and shower paint peeling in huge chunks. Threadbare bedspreads. Staff was friendly and attempted to please. Room seemed clean. Motel centrally located. Smoke smell so bad we left after one night although we paid for two. Do not recommend. "
