I called prior to making the reservation online and the person I spoke to stated the pool/spa was opened. After reserving online and checking in the pool and spa is not available and the hotel as whole is dirty and looks like it’s falling apart. I am very upset and should get a refund since the only reason we booked the rooms was for the pool and spa.

Maybe because of the fact that the room was supposed to be handicapped accessible it looked very neglected. Very dusty, bathtub was badly stained, no waste basket in restroom, non working floor lamp and no cups for the coffee maker. Hotel smells very nice on the 1st floor.... We were on the 6th.... All the LUXURIES faded the higher you go up.... However the young guy working the desk last night was very nice and helpful. Room 609

Check in staff was friendly. Music on intercom and TV were so loud I could barely hear the receptionist. Elevator was dirty. Fan in elevator looked like it had been on fire. Lights didn’t work on elevator TV remotes didn’t work. Room was clean. Hallways and common areas need to be cleaned. Overall this looked like a forgotten property in the Wyndham group.

This is more of what I would call a budget hotel. The building is old but has been remodeled. It was once a very nice hotel. The breakfast was definitely less than expected but the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is quiet and far enough away from the interstate that traffic noise is no issue.

The hotel is old and slightly worn down. There was also no ice machines that I could find and that was a real bummer. However, the staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and the rate was very cheap. I felt mostly safe staying here for one night with my children.

The breakfast was very basic and the lobby and hallways were very warm to be. The ac was loud and didn't cool the room well. The bathroom was very nice as was the pool. The elevator was slow and only one side worked. Not bad for the price bit wouldn't go back.

The staff and room was excellent. The only problem I see they need to work on: 1. The breakfast area is still too warm for people to enjoy their breakfast. 2. The gravy was lumpy. 3. Only one elevator was working and the other one was contrary. Overall, if I can get the same room because it had a handicap shower I will definitely stay again.

The overall stay and experience was a 7/10 especially for character. The hot tub was dirty and didnt look like it had been used in a while. My boyfriend and I were disappointed about that. The pool looked nice. The room was clean and had a working microwave and fridge and comfortable furniture. What made the experience interesting was the fact that only one elevator was working and some of the buttons were popping out and it would skip floors other than the one you needed sometimes. The floor in the elevator was cracked the some of the paneling was leaning forward. Other than that the hotel was decent for our brief stay in Texarkana.
