Mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, das Zimmer sauber. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut; leider war kein Personal anwesend, an das man sich bei Fragen wenden konnte.

Besonders fasziniert finde ich es, wenn man alte Gebäude (war eine Tabakfabrik) zu etwas Neues umwandelt. Ich habe befürchtet, dass viele Kinder dort sein werden- aber das Publikum war sehr gemischt. Nur im Bad war es leider etwas schimmelig :(

Einfaches Jugendgästezimmer mit Minimalausstattung

Die Bezeichnung "Hotel" ist nicht wirklich passend gewählt und irritierend. Es handelt sich um ein Jugendgästehaus, die Ausstattung ist dementsprechend minimalistisch und auf dem Niveau einer einfachen Jugendherberge. In unserem Zimmer gab es zwei Betten, einen Kleiderschrank, einen kleinen Telefontisch mit ein paar Prospekten sowie einen an die Wand montierten kleinen Röhren-Farbfernsehapparat. Das war's mit der Ausstattung. Es gab keinen Tisch und keine Stühle, auch Nachtkästchen waren nicht vorhanden, stattdessen hatten die Betten kleine Holzbretter als Seitenteile für die Ablage von Gegenständen. Der Parkettboden im 80er-Jahre-Stil hatte seine besten Jahre schon hinter sich, und die Wände waren völlig zerkratzt und beschmiert. Insgesamt würde ich das Ambiente als "unbewohntes Zimmer in einem sanierungsbedürftigen Jugendinternat" beschreiben. Die Fotos der Zimmer sind - wie bei Hotels leider oft üblich - wohl stark bearbeitet und geben nicht den tatsächlichen Zustand der Zimmer wieder. Aber nun zum Positiven: Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgiebig und lecker. Die Betten waren geeignet, um darin zu schlafen. Für jeden Gast lagen zwei frische Handtücher bereit. Fazit: Wer einfach nur ein sauberes Bett in einem beheizten Raum sucht, um eine Nacht möglichst kostengünstig unterzukommen, wird zufrieden sein. Ansprüche an Komfort und Ausstattung darf man jedoch keine haben.
