"Nicely painted room #16 with dormer window looking out to sea and ferry. Unfortunately the hotel WiFi doesn't reach to this room, but you can access it from the lobby area. Note that the toilet seat slips off and needs some fixing."

"The staff at the Brit were extremely welcoming and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed we were not able to have a hot drink in the room. Despite there being a kettle and tea/coffee they only provided small shot glasses for drinks which was extremely odd! There was also no fridge in the room which we needed to keep milk for our baby. "Pour quelqu’un qui s’attends à un Bed and breakfast, qui est à l’aise à ce qu’il n’y ai pas de stationnement privé, que la porte de chambre ne barre pas et qu’il y ai deux chats dans la maison, c’est vraiment très bien ! Thierry et Sophie m’ont accueillis les vras ouverts, pris le temps de discuter avec moi et me faire des recommandations en plus de me donner des informations pertinentes sur le secteur. Ils sont adorables :) De mon côté ça ne repondait pas à mes attentes mais j’ai quanf même...

"Really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. Clean and tidy. The hotel is well placed between Ouistreham and Caen making it ideal for visiting the local area. Shops are conveniently situated neaby. Would totally recommend this hotel. "

"The room we were in had roof eaves vaulted across our bed, so you had to stoop to get out of it. The split bathroom was not a good design. There was a water closet with a door separate from the shower and tub and sink which was directly in front of our bed with no door. The location was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The price was good considering they had a Michelin star restaurant on the premises."

"There are much nicer areas in Caen. This is very close to the train and rental cars, but there are a lot of people hanging out in front of the building. The staff was amazing. Everyone was very accomodating, friendly and helpful."
