"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. The bar was so welcoming with a great whiskey selection for myself and cocktail selection my partner loved. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our stay Matfen Hall was excellent and I...

"The Lodge is of superb quality,massive bedrooms and on suites so nice..Hot tub was asn option but not used.Staff on reception first class..Breakfast was good but spoilt a little by rather surly staff..
Overall a lovely experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommended "
