"ข้อดี ทำเลดีมาก สะอาด สะดวก สบาย ที่พักมีลิฟต์ไม่ต้องกลัวเรื่องแบกกระเป๋าขึ้นลง พนักงานต้อนรับเป็นกันเองดี ข้อเสีย ป้ายโรงแรมค่อนข้างเล็ก ต้องสังเกตถึงจะมองเล็ก ห้องที่เข้าพักประตูห้องน้ำปิดไม่สนิท ข้างๆ โรงแรมเป็นบันไดเล็กๆขึ้นเนิน ถ้าพักชั้นล่างๆ ฝั่งบันไดจะได้ยินเสียงคนบ้างเวลากลางคืน แนะนำให้ขอห้องชั้นสูงๆ เนื่องจากที่พักมีลิฟต์ไม่ต้องกลัวเรื่องแบกกระเป๋าขึ้นลง"

"We had a wonderful stay at destiny student burnet point! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel at ease. The room was completely spotless and the kitchen had great facilities and was very well maintained. It felt very safe as two young female travellers and was a great location for exploring the city especially having great access to Arthur’s seat. Would very much recommend this property and we will be back!!"

Just be aware it is not run by the hotel but it is on or adjacent to the grounds. A two minute walk from the lobby."

The hotel staff said that they reached out through Expedia to send us at least two separate messages talking about the soccer game and that we would not have parking. "As a first time in Edinburgh at 28 years , I do recommend ! Very friendly guests , they do their best in making it as comfortable as possible . It’s best to leave a message on your arrival date. The location is adequate very close to the bus station and a 15-20 minute walk to the amazing Portobello beach that is filled with amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The stores are nearby and has access to an ATM . Coffee is free and amenities are given all you need to do is ask . I would surely stay...

"The room was clean but could have been cleaner and didn’t smell very fresh.You couldn’t open the windows so it was very hot and stuffy.The bar was closed on the 1st night which was a bit of a surprise. All in all it was ok but we wouldn’t book to stay there again."

"Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great. The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge! We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed...

"Everything was clean. I loved my room. It’s not the most updated place in the world, but it had its own charm. It’s warm and inviting. The staff was great, and had good suggestions for tours. It’s kind of a pain not having anything nearby. No convenience stores or coffee shops. You have to take a train or Uber. I tried the connected restaurant twice and did not care for it. It’ll do though with nothing else around. Overall, it was a good value and I felt safe and comfortable"

Cons: you can tell this is an old refurbished building, unfortunately it’s not refurbished well. There were gnats everywhere all the time throughout the room and bathroom.
