Property manager takes great pride in her property and it shows. Amazing service and attention to detail, this HAS to be the cleanest place we have EVER stayed!
What a great little Lodge. It feels like a cabin in the rooms, the area is quite and beautiful views. The staff was so freindly and helpful. We will for sure be coming back.
I stayed at this property a few years ago and came back again. Friendly owners who made sure I was happy with the accommodation at check in. Love that they're dog friendly too.
We enjoyed the cute little cabin and the peace and quiet! The ability to be withing walking distance of the river was also amazing. The staff was friendly and we had a wonderful trip. Travel to food or other things was also relatively close with a beautiful drive to get there.
Stoney River Lodge was the perfect spot to stay for a trip to RMNP. It's a reasonable distance from DIA and RMNP hikes. This place was super cute and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Our host was also very sweet and helpful. The views from our patio was beautiful and we couldnt have asked for a better stay.
We stayed in The Bird room and it was perfect for a our family. The lodge is clean and quaint! We would recommend the Stoney River Lodge to anyone visiting the Rocky Mountains.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
The Lodge is quaint, fairly isolated, and old fashioned lodging. We found it comfortable, and quiet.
Stayed in the Eagle room. Just like the pictures. Very clean inside and a quiet location. Decent bed and plenty of hot water nothing fancy and the lady running the place was nice.
We have stayed here a few times now, we love this place anytime we come to Loveland and stay. Cozy place, our room had a stove and dishes to use. There are grills available too. The sound of Big Thompson River is so peaceful.

Old but clean (no smells) and has updates. Owner/manager on property 24/7. Helpful and friendly. Large Apple tree in yard and river view.
Gorgeous spot -right across from the River. Owners very nice… reviewed room with us before we checked in. Let a very nice welcome basket and even had doggy treats for our dog! But, going in July is HOT outside. No A/C. Ran fans alls day to try and keep place cool. Also, shower stall needs work. Too small for adult size bodies. Toilet not secured to floor… it moves after you sit or get off of it. Overall nice place. Bonus was the river being right outside our door.
All of the rooms have a theme. Ours was western / cowboy. Some parts of the room were not clean - we were provided a 20-inch box fan (that was well-needed), but it was filthy. We had to wash any dishes we used in the little kitchen, which I didn't mind, but we would have otherwise been charged a fee. I didn't feel really good about trusting every other guest to have washed everything well, so I also pre-washed. The Big Thompson River flows right outside - very nice and relaxing and not noisy at night. No/difficult cell service. No local places to eat. Good value away from Estes Park, which is a lovely place - will be better after they finish road construction.
This property was so cute, beautiful scenery and the owner was just wonderful!! We will absolutely be staying there again. One of the best cabins I've stayed at for sure.
The staff was amazing and easy to work with.. the scenery was beautiful plenty to do right on campus and was a quick drive to town. 10 out 10 with be back
